Capita Total Document Solutions held a series of User Groups for their Swordfish document management system customers at the beginning of November in the auspicious surroundings of the Crypt at St Pauls Cathedral.
The events were an opportunity to introduce the planned new release of Swordfish SF10, to the customer base and to showcase the benefits of the AnyDoc product suite that offers clever ways of automatically extracting data from paper documents.
Customers were taken through the benefits of Swordfish’s new version due for release next year, which includes a new up-to-date look and feel for the product, the introduction of web services integration capability within the core product , an Online help resource for users and a useful letter generator function.
Three separate user groups were held for the different sectors using the product - social housing, Insurance and a general group which includes local government, publishing and logistics.
Feedback sought from delegates attending the events showed that there was an overall very high satisfaction rating with the events and their relevance to their businesses and an overwhelming agreement for holding a similar event on an annual basis.
The delegates were also given the opportunity of exploring the rest of St Paul’s, including the grand resting places of Admiral Nelson and the Duke of Wellington and to try out the Whispering gallery high up in the Dome.
